Hey, Welcome to my homepage! I am a final year MS student in the Computer Science department of University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. My Master’s project is on providing real-time guarantees for Motion Planning in Robotics under the guidance of Prof. Ron Alterovitz.
In the past, I have had the opportunity to work with Prof. Vinay P. Namboodiri and Prof. Devi Parikh during my undergrad. My research interests include Robotics, Computer Vision and Natural Language Processing.
I have worked on the problem of Visual Question Generation in which we generated natural questions using differential multimodal embeddings and experimented with different ways of obtaining the multimodal embeddings. I also explored the problem of Visual Dialog under the guidance of Abhishek Das. I am also interested in the problem of finding better methods of evaluation in NLP and obtaining proper sentence embeddings.
